All health testing for Miyuki are done, we are currently waiting for her next heat (hopefully somewhere this month) and she will be mated with a gorgeous brindle male!

June 2025

It’s been a while since we posted something here, but we have been busy living life and enjoying the pack. 

Since april of 2023 we got a new edition to our pack, our long awaited white female named Miyuki is finally here. She has developed well and we love her happy and loving character. She has been a real dream in all aspects. 

In the beginning of this year we started the health tests and you can read the results on her own page. 

We are planning to do a mating with Miyuki at the end of 2025.

After 4 long years of waiting and dissapointment Minamoto no Yorimitsu proudly presents their first confirmed litter!!!

We are over the moon and can not believe it is finally happening after all the sadness we had the last few weeks after losing Raiko.

We expect the puppies to be born on 06-11-2017

Our hearts are broken as we let you know
that our beloved male Raiko died on the 9th of september
We miss him terribly but
treasure the time we had with him in our lives over the past 10 years.
It seems like just yesterday that he was just a little puppy
who grew up to be king of the neighbourhood.
He will never be forgotten and will be loved forever.

The ultrasound is planned on the 27th of march, so keep checking this website for more news. Sadly Akemi showed no puppies on the ultrasound. We will try again next heat.

Last weekend, it was time for Akemi’s first show, The Amsterdam Holland cup and the Amsterdam Winner show,
Akemi did great on both days and required the necessary points for breeding.
This means there is nothing keeping us from breeding her, next heat,

02-10-2016 We are currently waiting for the arrival of Akemi’s pedigree. When this arrives we will start doing all the required tests so she can be mated next heat.

30-09-2016 Sadly we have to announce the retirement of G’Kumiko Deiji de L’Empire des Samourais (aka Miki). Due to her pyometra last year, we do not feel we can take this risk again and we rather enjoy having our precious girl with us.
